How is art therapeutic? What is Mindfulness?
Wave Art is about providing therapeutic mindful art experiences for our clients. At Wave Art you will experience first hand the healing and relaxing benefits of exploring Art mindfully. Each medium, is in itself unique, arousing the senses, removing you from your thoughts and worries. Wave Art Workshops will assist you with exploring textures and colours through clay, watercolours, acrylics or even soft pastels. Your discovery of 'being in the moment' in a tranquil setting, has begun. 'Being in the moment', is very much the essence of mindfulness.

Waves are ever changing, unpredictable, fun, calming and can be dangerous. Imagine walking along a beach where gentle waves are lapping over your toes. Another day the storms of life are like the powerful dumping waves that knock you down.
Learning to surf the waves of life was one the most valuable skills I have learned. Painting waves over these years has helped me surf life's waves.
Wave Art will specialise in providing creative art workshops and art therapy!
Ali Greene
Director and Founder of Wave Art
"it is not about being good at creativity, it's about creativity being good for you"
With over 30 years experience in the Early Childhood sector, strongly influenced by Reggio practices, Ali Greene was able to provide numerous opportunities for children to experience the visual and musical arts. At Wave Art, we believe we begin as children and can create freely without restrictions. As we grow, many of us have been conditioned to no longer be creative. Wave Art can change that for you, in the provision of its intimate and safe environment where our small groups or individuals can explore, create and immerse themselves!

💙 Together, let’s make a difference — brushstroke by brushstroke, conversation by conversation.
we will with our live community painting at the Crows Nest Festival on Sunday 19th October at our very own Wave Art Stall right next to the Community Centre.
Every dollar raised will go towards funding Beyond Blue’s Support Service. When someone feels alone or overwhelmed, or like they don’t know what to do next – no matter who they are, where they live, or what time of day it is – it’s vital that they know Beyond Blue is there for them.
