Our Studio has been designed to provide a fresh, calming environment, with a multi-functional use in mind. We provide a safe and judgement-free space where you can release the tensions of the day through art. The studio is also safe for children
Founder and owner of Wave Art, Ali and her Assistance Dog Pixie will look after everything you need. Ali has a Bachelor of Teaching and over 35yrs experience with 0-12yr olds. Ali has a current Working With Children Check and is studying Transpersonal Art Therapy.
Ali is an Artist and a retired Early Childhood Teacher/Director. Ali has always had a love for teaching, the ocean and art. From her early HSC 3 unit works which captured sailing boats, to her more recent paintings of the ocean, and in particular waves.

Through her own lived experience and personal growth, Ali Greene discovered the healing capacity of Art Therapy and exploring new mediums and the benefit of the process. Ali is now studying to be an Art therapist. Art Therapy was, and still is, integral for her wellbeing and in particular to her mental health. She wants to share this with others!

dog with mindDog since December 2021; mindDog assist mental health sufferers to procure, train and certify psychiatric assistance dogs. These dogs assist people whose lives have been severely compromised by anxiety and fear. With Pixie by her side, Ali has been able to travel on public transport, access public places and take part in social activities which had been too difficult for her to do. To maintain the certification Pixie and Ali have to do an annual Public Access Test (PAT). this access is protected by the Commonwealth Disability Discrimination Act 1992.
Pixie is a Japanese Spitz, she has been with Ali since a puppy. When she was 2, she began training as an Assistance Dog.
Pixie is very gentle and very soft, and although you may want to smoother her with cuddles, we like to make sure she has her own space in the studio. So with guidance form Ali, we will confine interactions with Pixie in
